how to make Potato and Ham Gratin

This can be either a side dish or even an entree paired with a salad. Tender potatos layered with ham and cheese accented with green onuions and crispy bacon, it slices into pretty delicious sqares!

ingredients

  1. 5 medium red potatos, precooked in chicken broth until just
  2. tender, then cooled
  3. 1 teaspoon sriracha seasoning
  4. to taste salt and pepper
  5. 8 ounces thin. sliced black Forrest gam
  6. 8 ounces sliced provalone chee
  7. 6 green onions, sliced
  8. 6 slices bacon. cooled crisp and crumbled
  9. 1 cup heavy cream
  10. 2 large eggs
  11. 2 garlic cloves minced
  12. 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
  13. 3 tablespoond fresh grated romano cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Spray a 9 inch baking pan with non sick spray peel and cut potatoes into 1/4 inch slices. Season with sriracha, salt and pepper
  2. Lay one layer of potatos in pan
  3. Cover with a layer of ham
  4. Then a layer of sliced cheese, sprinkle with green onion and parsley
  5. Repeat layering potato, ham, cheese, onion and p arsley, pressing down each layer
  6. In a bowl whisk cream eggs and garlic, season with salt and pepper to taste
  7. Pour over potatoes
  8. Add bacon and shredded chees, green onions, parsley and romano cheesee press down gently to compact mixture Place dish on foil lined baking sheet and bake about 30 to 40 minutes until set. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing
